Sugar Cookies
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup sugar

Cream all these ingredients together.
Add 2 eggs one at a time.
Add 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Add 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 teaspoon salt

Combine the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
Divide into 5 balls and chill. Roll out 1/8 inch thick on floured board, cut, place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400°F for 8-10 minutes.
