Story County 4-H and Iowa 4-H Foundations will raffle a 2008 Ford F-150 flex-fuel truck. The Ford Motor Company has partnered with the Iowa 4-H Foundation to raise funds and awareness for Iowa's 4-H programs. The truck will be at the Story County Fair from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 20. Tickets will be sold for $20 each or six for $100, and will be available at the County Fair and also at the Story County Extension Office through Oct. 9. The drawing will be Friday, Oct. 10, and the winner does not have to be present to win. The winner will be presented the truck Nov. 15 at the Iowa State football game. Participants must be 18 years old to purchase raffle tickets. Story County will receive half of the money for tickets sold in the county. Checks should be made payable to Iowa 4-H Foundation. The winner will be required to pay IRS withholding taxes prior to taking possession and be responsible for tax, title and license fees. |
