Troopers assisted by the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office conducted 97 inspections, found 323 suspected violations and took 41 vehicles out of service. Additionally, six drivers were taken off the road. Fines issued totaled $4,415, according to the State Patrol.
Inspections have also been conducted in the Lincoln, Omaha, Grand Island and Scottsbluff areas this summer. More surprise inspections are planned. |
