Nine members of the Superior FFA Chapter attended the 2007 IMPACT FFA Leadership Conference at Central Community College, Hastings, on October 1, 2007. The group was accompanied by Superior H.S. Guidance Counselor, Mr. Paul Polk. Attending from the local chapter were Kara Peterson, Allison Kintigh, Justin Petsch, Ross Utecht, Bethany Brittenham, Montana Hayes, Victoria Simonsen, Sarah Wood, and Lacey Ward.  The State Officers met with the chapter members and worked with them on chapter goals
and expectations.

The members of the Superior FFA Chapter attended the 80th National FFA convention in Indianapolis this past October.

Highlights for the Chapter were having sophomore member Chari Mikkelsen participate in the National Chorus during the week. She was one of 85 students from across the nation to perform. The programs were presented on RFD-TV.

The local Chapter earned a plaque for their three-star national rating. The Superior delegates to go on stage in front of 12,000 people were Nick Hawley and Jared Haas.

Kris Bargen had the FFA American Degree bestowed upon her in ceremonies Saturday morning. The American Degree is the highest degree awarded by the FFA.
