Noel Mues, Extension Educator Furnas County
Private applicators may recognize that their Nebraska Department of Agriculture license expires in 2010 or before. If this is the case you may wish to attend a Pesticide Safety Education recertification training program to renew your license. You may become certified / recertified by attending any of the training sessions that are listed below. Also, you may become recertified by taking a home study course by contacting us at the Extension Office.
In addition to a fee for attending the training, the NDA is required to collect pesticide applicator license fees. Fees collected will be forwarded to the Natural Resources Districts for their Water Quality Fund. Once you are certified, the NDA will send you a billing statement for an additional license fee. The license fee cannot be paid at the training meeting or to your extension educator.
