Compared to last month feeder lambs sold 18.00-25.00 higher; slaughter lambs
sold 6.00 higher; slaughter ewes sold 6.00 higher; slaughter rams scarce.
Billies traded 1.00 lower, nannies sold 3.00 higher, kids sold 15.00 higher and
yearlings sold 7.00 higher; Demand good and supply light. Sheep made
approximately 59 percent of the offering, 41 percent goats. Sheep are priced on
a per hundred weight basis, all goats are sold per head.
Slaughter lambs: Choice 2-3 102-114 lbs 101.00-110.00.
Feeder lambs: Medium and Large 1-2 40- lbs 114.00-118.00; fancy 51-58 lbs
125.00-127.00; 68-78 lbs 117.00-129.00; fancy 73-78 lbs 132.00-134.00; 90-99 lbs
101-111.00.
Slaughter ewes: Utility and Good 1-3 woolen 135-170 lbs 33.00-49.00,
