900 lbs carcasses up 0.61 at 136.25; based on 121.04 loads of Choice cuts,
103.83 loads of Select cuts, 41.78 loads of Trimmings, and 45.90 loads of coarse
ground trimmings.

SIOUX FALLS, SD- Tuesday Jan, 2009. Sheep & Goat Auction. 400 head.
Compared to last week slaughter lambs steady, too few ewes offered to make a
good comparison, higher undertones evident. Feeder lambs not well tested.
Demand remains good for all classes of sheep and goats. Today's receipts about
66 percent slaughter lambs; 15 percent slaughter ewes; balance bucks.

slaughter lambs steady; not enough slaughter ewes or feeder lambs for a test.
No comparison at San Angelo, TX. 4,000 head estimated for a one day sale.
